An angel came by, into my life – With a magical wand- He helped, soar my spirit- Oh,so high ! With a loving look and comforting words- He managed to get rid of all my fears. He taught me to swim against the tides, He never let me drown, he held me tight ! He lent his shoulders for me to cry- Prayed for me all day and night… When all had turned their backs on me, He cheered, comforted and believed in me. Life was like hell broken loose- He helped sew the pieces, anew ! He wasn’t my father, brother, husband or friend, Then who was this person, that God had sent ? He was an angel – He was my God, Even as he died, He’s been and shall always be by my side… For he rules my spirit and not just life ! All I could see was darkness everywhere- He turned darkness into light again. He made me see God in everything, He made me believe in my strengths within… Miss you my angel- And am waiting for the day To be with you forever at heaven’s gate !
