Tila & Co. is pleased to present its new collection of one-of-a-kind, handmade jewelry.  

“We have designed and created jewelry pieces that are fun and whimsical but can also be used at work or at formal events,” says Marina Alteza, co-owner of Tila & Co.  “Our designs reflect modern and vintage styles that allow women of all ages to feel beautiful, special and unique.”

New this year, Tila is pleased to introduce a new direction in jewelry design.  Using existing antique, vintage and art deco pieces sourced from a variety of locations, Tila’s head designer and co-owner, Irene Alteza, uses the original piece as inspiration and updates it with modern materials to create something that fuses old and new.

“So far, our customers have been thrilled with our collection,” continues Marina Alteza.  “Every woman is unique and so are the items we create.  We offer handmade jewelry pieces that are timeless and that you won’t find in stores, but at reasonable prices.”

The inspiration behind the creation of Tila & Co. came from personal experience.  The Alteza sisters, both fashion-oriented from an early age, found as they got older how difficult it was to keep up with the changing styles from year to year.  The unique jewelry they admired were often out of their price range.  They discovered that they could create their own pieces and were pleasantly surprised to find they were the recipients of compliments from friends, co-workers and complete strangers.  Compliments turned into orders and quickly Tila & Co. was born.

For Tila’s handcrafted jewelry collection, Irene enjoys working with sterling silver, gold-filled, semi-precious gemstones, vintage components, glass beads, and crystals from around the world, which includes handcrafted necklaces, bracelets, and earrings.  Every piece in the collection is designed and manufactured in Toronto, Canada.
